Where to Use Acadian Ornamentals:
Start foliar applications at initial growth stage, then every 3-4 week intervals.
Apply additional applications after periods of stress, heavy use, newly applied sod, or late season to improve resistance to winterkill/frost damage.
Can be added to foliar sprays to increase uptake & translocation.
Flower beds to increase bloom set & recovery after cutting blooms. To lengthen the life of cut flowers, spray a 1-2 days before cutting.
Anyplace for stronger, deeper turf roots and deeper colour, particularly in areas of stress such as high wear, poor soil conditions, etc.
Excellent for improved colour/vigour of ornamentals, shrubs & trees.
Product should be used as part of a complete fertility program.
Rates:
Mixing instructions: Fill one-half of a mixing container with water. Gradually add Acadian, mixing constantly. Bring to final volume with additional water and continued agitation.
Sprayers: 1 1/2-3 oz in 21/2 gallons (High Vol.), 1 gallon (Low Vol.) of water per 1000 ft2 or 45-90 ml in 10 litres of water per 100 m2.
Ornamentals: Apply as above, or at a rate of 2-4 quarts per acre (5-10 litres/hectare). Make applications at 2-4 week intervals. Continue with applications to greens and shrubs, but avoid open flowers (product may stain petals). Continue with regular applications post-flowering. Compatible with other soluble fertilizer mixtures. Applications may also be made into soil of potted plants or watered directly into flower beds
